Pre-beginner – Level 1 Best for ages 5-7

55 min. weekly class introducing basic Aerial and playground skills with some floor gymnastics to enhance building blocks of a strong Aerial Arts base. Apparatus include; hammock, hoop, trapeze, and some silk.

 

Youth Aerial Fun 1 

Beginner – Level 1 Best for ages 7-10

55 min. weekly class. Introduction to Aerial skills and progressions at a beginner level on a variety of cirque-style aerial apparatus. Students learn basic hammock/silk, hoop, trapeze, and some basic gymnastics skills for strength, body positioning, and awareness.

Intermediate Level 2 Best for ages 8-12

55 min. weekly class based on increasing students’ repertoire of Aerial skills, techniques, and transitions while challenging strength, stability, and body awareness. Students will learn level 2 sequences on hammock, hoop, trapeze, silk along with some floor gymnastics elements designed to enhance form and promote presentation skills
Focus: Aerial apparatus navigation; poses, climbing, traversing, general flexibility as well as presentation skills.

Teen Aerial

All Levels  Best for ages (12-16)

55 min. weekly class. this class is ideal for a newer TEEN aerial students dancers, and gymnasts.  This class focuses on upper body strength and solid progressions. Great for dancers to adapt movement on the ground to the air. Increased silk strength while challenging adaptations between apparatus. Students will learn levels 1-3 sequences on hammock, hoop, trapeze and silk to promote musicality and presentation skills.
Focus: Aerial apparatus skills; strength & climbing, sequencing, adaptations, general flexibility as well as presentation skills.

Aerial Basics + conditioning

All Levels – Ages 16+

55 min. Aerial inspired Fitness class introducing basic aerial arts including inversions on hammock,  silk as well as basic trapeze and hoop progressions. This class is perfect for beginning and intermediate adult aerialists!
